Barry Villines is the Chief Financial Officer of IHP Capital Partners and sits on its Investment Committee. Prior to joining IHP Capital Partners in 2013, Mr. Villines was an Audit Director in the Costa Mesa office of Deloitte & Touche LLP and his clients primarily included home builders, land developers, and privately held REITs.
Mr. Villines’ career in public accounting spans a total of 16 years, including 13 years Deloitte & Touche LLP in the firm’s audit and assurance practice and three years at Kenneth Leventhal & Company. In addition to his experience in public accounting, Mr. Villines spent seven years with a national healthcare claim audit and recovery company, as Division President and Client Service Manager.
Mr. Villines has twenty three years of audit, accounting, and business operations experience and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Villines graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. He is a current board member of Laura’s House, and previously served as a Board member of CalCPA, OC/Long Beach Chapter (2006-2012).
